Emergency services were called to reports of a serious collision on Drummond Road in Boston on Saturday 31 January, shortly before 4.30pm.

The incident occurred between Drake Road and Frederica Road, where a 41-year-old man riding a black Suzuki motorcycle is believed to have lost control before leaving the road.

Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the rider was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and carried out initial investigations. It has since reopened, although officers may remain in the area for a short time while enquiries continue.

Detective Sergeant Kate Johnston, the lead investigator, is now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the motorcycle being ridden prior to the collision.

Police are also asking for anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or other recorded footage that may have captured the motorcycle before or during the incident to get in touch.
