A woman has been charged in relation to an incident in which a two-year-old girl was injured in Skegness yesterday (Saturday 28 February).
Samantha Gardiner, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH). She has been remanded to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 2 March.)

Officers from Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a two-year-old girl was injured in an incident in Skegness.
Police were called at 4.20pm on Saturday 28 February to reports that a woman inside the Lucky Strike Amusement Arcade on Grand Parade had allegedly thrown a glass bottle, which struck the young girl on the head.
The child was taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be serious.
A 41-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and assaulting an emergency worker in connection with the incident. She remains in police custody at this time.
Investigating officers believe the incident was witnessed by a number of people, some of whom may have discussed it on social media. However, police have stressed that online commentary cannot be used as formal evidence and are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward directly.
The suspect is described as a white woman, aged around 40, of slim build, with long dark hair. She was reportedly wearing a yellow coat and tweed trousers. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her before or after the incident, as well as anyone who witnessed the घटना itself.
